Good morning, dear brothers and sisters:

 

This is the first time for me standing here and talk about the baptism. Now, I am very excited because Today Christine will be baptized in Wollongong ward. Today is not only so special for Christine but also for me, for every one of us.

 

Jesus Christ teaches us everyone must be baptized of water and of the spirit .He set the best example himself by being baptized to “fulfill all righteousness” .When we are baptized, we receive a remission of our sins; we make a covenant with God: we promise to accept Jesus Christ as our savior, to follow him, and to keep his commandments. When we are baptized, our sins are washed away.

We are also baptized to become members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and to enter the kingdom of God.

Baptism by immersion is a sacred symbol of the death, and revival of Jesus Christ; it represents the end of our old life and the beginning of a new life as the child of our eternal father.

None of us goes through life without trials—sometimes very severe ones.

We may have problems with family, friends, study, or health. We may have personal weaknesses that we are struggling with. Christine, I, and also many of my friends sitting here are international students. Studying abroad is a big challenge for us. We have to face all kinds of difficulties. Homesick, language barrier, heavy study stress and so on. Sometimes, each of us may have this feeling: the heavy burdens of our daily life press us breathless and we lost our life direction. However, everything changed after baptism. When I pray every night before sleep, God show me the outlet of my life. I know, just follow his words and walk on the way he prepared for us; we can get the kingdom full of happiness and glory.

I am so happy that more and more Chinese friends have become members of church.As we know, so far there are no missionary in my country and only a few chapels in china. However, we are very lucky, during the studying overseas; we have a chance to study the gospel, and received the baptism and Holy Ghost, which is so important in our future lives.

We know our heavenly father loves us. He wants us to find joy in this life and return to live with him when this life is over. He has prepared a plan to help us do these things. It is the plan of salvation, a plan of happiness.

In the end, let us read a small paragraph of Book of Moron together,(2 Nephi, 31:20) ！（尼腓二书，31：20）“wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men, wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life”

In Chinese, It means:

因此，你们必须对基督坚定不移，怀着完全光明的希望，以及对神和对所有人的爱心， 努力前进。因此， 如果你们努力前进，饱享基督的话，并持守到底，看啊，父这样说：你们必得永生!

 

That is the purpose of our lives. In the name of Jesus of Christ, amen!

在遇到神以前，我的心从来就没有方向。

 

晚上和淼淼聊天，他说还没适应失去她的日子。有人以为迅速摆脱旧恋情的最好方法就是马上开始一段新的恋情，但对于那些惯性较强的人而言，这段痛苦期是不能避免的。曾经付出的，不要奢望她都能明白，即使明白了又有什么用？ 每一段经历对自己都是一次成长，和别人没有关系。

 

周围的朋友里，那些痴情男们都一个个陷在自己挖的泥潭里跳不出来，而禽兽们则不亦乐乎地从这个潭跳到那个潭，甩一甩衣袖，不带走一点泥。

 

很多人越是想安安定定的守住自己的那棵树就越守不住。所以还是放开手把，如果你天性彪悍，可以从别人手里抢别人的树。如果你打死都不是强盗的命，那就潇洒一点闲庭信步的逛整个森林，等着你的那棵树缠着你不走。

 

“心的方向”是周华健第一张专辑的歌，亚当兄就很喜欢。听这首歌最爽的时候就是自己开车在海边闲逛，会感觉原本灰暗的人生就有了希望。淼淼说他准备明年3月去婺源， 8月去西藏。本来准备结婚的钱够旅游很多地方了。

 

兄弟，去追随心的方向吧。

 

看淼淼的blog，想念那个大学睡在我下铺的兄弟，想起大学的纯真年代。

那时候2PM一起在澳门路买打口CD，猴子的破电脑上贴着"左小诅咒"的标签，我在黑夜的寝室里点燃了人生的第一支"红双喜"。

可是现在呢，澳门路拆了，破电脑在哪里，澳洲没有红双喜，我现在自己卷winfield抽.

 

感情上的事情因人而异,有人总是劝身边失恋的朋友,一切都会好起来的.这只是一句好听的话,但不是对每个人都有用.

 

我至今还没有恢复过来, 总是在清晨梦见她,惊醒的时候满眼是泪.记得小时候看过一部日剧"天堂的金币",剧中的一对兄弟都喜欢酒井法子演的哑巴.那个哑巴都不会说话,后来好像腿也不能动了,但是兄弟两个都想照顾哑巴一辈子.我有时候真希望自己喜欢的她也是一个做在轮椅上的哑巴,这样他就只能怯怯地望着窗外残酷的世界,而我可以安心的照顾她一辈子.

 

淼淼希望在上海的冬夜里,我和猴子能悲伤地坐在他的身旁,我也真的希望,猴子一定也希望.即时现在大家天各一方.

 

现在我的室友无论身体还是内心都强悍无比,他总是教育我"好Bi都被狗操了". 这句话听上去不舒服,但是相信这句话的人都比我活得快乐.

 

当我以为自己可以练就铁石心肠,把所有的柔软都包裹起来,开始自己彪悍的人生时,我发现那伪装出来的强大在不经意间就被击倒. 本性难移,还是听从神的话语,跟随他走吧.
